每個像素使用2bits表示(4個顏色)
每一個Palette有4個顏色可以設定,共有8個Palette可以使用
每個顏色由15bits組成
設定的方式則是透過BCPS(設定位址)、BCPD(設定資料)

設定Palette0的第1組(共4組)顏色為0x001f(紅色),而預設開機的第1個Tile,內容都是0,因此,顯示為紅色
